7-Eleven Mobil - Epping

Positioned in the heart of Melbourne's northern growth corridor, 7-Eleven Epping commands a high-profile location at the intersection of O'Herns and Edgars Road. This new facility features four pump islands with eight fuel terminals beneath a freestanding canopy, complete with drive-through convenience and underground fuel infrastructure. The site's strategic arterial connectivity and 24/7 operations demanded lighting that could handle constant traffic flow while maintaining exceptional safety standards.

Client Objectives

Working closely with 7-Eleven, Amphis addressed several key requirements:

• Ensure superior night-time visibility for continuous operations, enhancing security in all spaces.
• Create uniform lighting coverage that elevates the customer experience while adhering to strict safety protocols and budget considerations.
• Deploy targeted illumination to highlight essential zones, seamlessly directing both vehicle and foot traffic throughout the facility.

Amphis's Solution

To meet these demands, our team designed a comprehensive lighting plan using proven Amphis Commercial products:

• Canopy lighting systems: Robust canopy luminaires were installed above fuel bowsers to ensure consistent visibility. These products offer excellent energy efficiency and are built for durability with an IP67 rating, making them ideal for harsh outdoor environments.
• White Knight area lights: Attached to poles, these LED fixtures were selected for their exceptional performance in delivering uniform brightness across expansive areas. A combination of T3, T4 and T5 light distribution lenses maximised coverage.
• Precise product positioning: Through detailed site and lux mapping, we determined the optimal White Knight placement to achieve the necessary illumination using reduced pole quantities. Together with lens variation and canopy fixtures, the lighting plan supplied the required visibility levels with the smallest installation footprint.
